Such a late edition tonight. We're not even hitting the day's end. To our regular readers, we apologize, we don't wish to make a habit of this, for both your sakes and ours. Nonetheless we still want to bring you the news for the day, even if it's already the 11th. Don't worry, we'll still be bringing you today's news later today.
Ninja
Council 2 out today
For
all of our readers who missed the Sept.
26th edition of News Pop!, where we let you know about
the release of Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 and the, then, upcoming
release of Naruto: Ninja Council 2, you're in luck. TOMY and D3
Publisher have released Ninja Council 2 for Game Boy Advance. We
don't have much more information to share with you about the game
than we gave about it in that edition, but you can check out either
the Naruto website at www.naruto.com
or D3 Publisher of America's website at www.d3publisher.us
for full information about the game. Naruto: Ninja Council 2 is
available for $29.99 USD and CAD, only for Game Boy Advance, and is
rated E-10+ for Everyone 10 and up.
EA
announces release date for Superman Returns
November
20th. That's the date you can all go mark down on your
calenders if you've been waiting to pick up a copy of Superman
Returns: The Videogame. The game will be releasing on Xbox, Xbox 360,
Playstation 2, PSP and Nintendo DS, so finding a version for a system
you own shouldn't be too difficult (unless you've got a GameCube or
Wii that is). There will also be a special version for Game Boy
Advance called Superman Returns: Fortress of Solitude. You can get
more information on the game, check out videos and screenshots and
read up on the game's news at www.besuperman.com.
Superman Returns: The Videogame will be rated T for Teen for the
console versions and E for Everyone for Nintendo DS. Superman
Returns: Fortress of Solitude will be rated E for Everyone.
Tiger
Woods hits the course again
EA
Sports released Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and the game is available for
a variety of systems. It's getting pretty hard for EA Sports to
one-up itself with this came when it comes to things other than
graphics, but the new features in this year's version should prove to
be a significant change from the past years. Depending on the
version, Tiger Woods will look and act more like his real-life
counterpart. Specifically, the Xbox 360 version has the biggest
feature changes and additions, much like the Xbox 360 versions of
other EA Sports games that have come out this year. It's a bit much
to detail to go through version by version, so you'll want to go to
http://www.easports.com/tigerwoods07
and
look for the system you want the game information on to see the
specific features for that console. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is
available for $39.99 USD or $49.99 CAD for Playstation 2 and PSP,
$39.99 USD or $44.99 CAD for Xbox and will be shipping for Xbox 360
on October 17th for $59.99 USD or $69.99 CAD. The game is
rated E for Everyone.
Gun
Showdown hits stores
Activision
released Gun Showdown for PSP yesterday. The free roaming
action/adventure game allows players to work both sides of the law in
the untamed West, shooting knifing and dynamiting their way through
the game's story, all from the comfort of their subway seat, or
wherever else they happen to use their handheld system for that
matter. The game is essentially meant to extend the experience from
the original console game and delivers five new missions that expand
upon the story. For full information on the game and to watch some
game footage, go to www.activision.com.
Gun Showdown is available for $39.99 USD and $49.99 CAD and is rated
M for Mature.
