Warner
Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of
LEGO
Batman: The Videogame
earlier
this week. Available for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP,
Nintendo DS, Wii and PC,
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
features a completely original storyline. Gotham City's most
notorious criminals have escaped from Arkham Asylum and it's up to
Batman and Robin to take them down. Well, that part might not be
original, but the way the story unfolds is.
Like
the
LEGO Star Wars
and
LEGO
Indiana Jones
video games
before it,
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
blends
the Batman universe with the building and fun elements of LEGO, but
unlike those games
LEGO Batman
gives players the opportunity to play the paths of both the heroes
and the villains. The game includes two unique paths, one beginning
in Arkham Asylum (villains) and the other beginning in the Batcave
(heroes), with 15 action-packed levels each. You can save Gotham as
the LEGO versions of Batman, Robin, Alfred and Batgirl, or leave a
path of destruction behind you as The Joker, Harley Quinn, Mr.
Freeze, Two-Face and other Batman universe villains.

LEGO
Batman: The Videogame
also
includes a number of legendary Batman vehicles, including the
Batmobile, the Batwing, Robin's bike and more. There's also a
selection of ability enhancing suit upgrades available for players to
unlock. Of course, a LEGO video game wouldn't be complete without
jump-in/jump-out cooperative multiplayer gameplay, and
LEGO
Batman'
s got it.
LEGO
Batman: The Videogame
is
available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii for $49.99 USD/CAD or
for Playstation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS or PC for $29.99 USD/CAD and is
rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and up.
LEGO
Batman: The Videogame

Sony

brand new Playstation 2 bundle this week, coinciding with the release
