This has certainly been an interesting week for us at The Comic Book Bin. Thanks to some problems with our new system, we had some interesting mishaps with our publishing times and the looks of our articles. Thankfully, things look like they're starting to go back to normal and, hopefully, we'll soon be able to bring you bigger and better articles than ever before. And now for the last News Pop! of the week.
RedOctane
officially unveiled its new Guitar Hero wireless controller today.
The controller, which will be compatible with both Guitar Hero and
Guitar Hero II for the Playstation 2, will be available in November
for a suggested retail price of $59.99 USD. The controller has a
glossy white finish and will work just like the original Guitar Hero
controller, except with a lot more freedom of movement. The release
of the wireless controller will be just about the same time as the
release of Guitar Hero II, which will have a track list of over 60
songs, new venues, characters, guitars, play modes and, one thing
we're really excited about, the ability to play different guitar
tracks, like lead, bass or rhythm. There's no word on what the
Canadian pricing will be just yet. For more information on Guitar
Hero, like the track list and characters, you can check out

Funcom,
the publisher behind the upcoming Age of Conan, announced today that
it is extending its play-all-you-want offer for Anarchy Online until
200
8.
The offer also now includes Anarchy Online – Notum Wars, giving
players the opportunity to take part in player versus player combat
for free.
“The
free offer has been an amazing success and a chance to show massive
amounts of players how good this game actually is,” said Trond Arne
Aas, CEO of Funcom. “With a new expansion around the corner, an
improved free offer, continued development and few good sci-fi MMO
games around we believe Anarchy Online can remain successful for
years to come. For more information on the game and the offer, you
can check out www.anarchy-online.com.
That's all we've got for
News Pop! this week. We'll be back for more again next week, so be
sure to check back with us. This is a great season for video game
news, so there's always cool stuff for us to report. Have a good
weekend!
