Zen Studios, developers of the Pinball FX for Xbox 360 and other arcade style games, announced today that its upcoming Playstation Network downloadable pinball game, Zen Pinball (the first pinball title for the Playstation Network), will be available for download next Thursday, May 14th.
Zen Pinball include four full-featured 3D pinball tables with different adventure themes and goals – V12, Tesla, Shaman and El Dorado – and a number of multiplayer modes for you to enjoy with friends, including in house multiplayer, online and worldwide tournament competitions. And online play is even chat and video chat capable when using compatible USB devices. The game also includes a realistic Operator Menu to let you change settings and view advanced play information. There are also special features to make the game more fun, including the ability to save your game at any time, different difficulty levels and even a slow motion feature.
Zsolt Kigyossy, managing director for ZEN Studios is very excited for the upcoming release of Zen Pinball. "Arcade fans have been anxiously waiting for this game, and we’re pleased to announce that we have confirmed the release date,” Kigyossy said. "Our team has put a lot of hours and hard work into developing this title and the results look amazing! We further refined the pinball physics, and in the core game we included four exciting original pinball tables. In the coming months we will also continue to expand on the gameplay experience by offering a great selection of new tables that will deliver a fun and lasting experience for players of all ages."
You read correctly. There will be new table made available for download later on, so, in addition to the tables that come with the game, you could potentially your table collection far beyond the original four. Zen Pinball will be releasing exclusively for download via the Playstation Store on May 14th for $9.99 USD and is rated E for Everyone.
