So you want to publish your Web comic with us?
Who
ComicBookBin is an established comic news and reviews site. We've been filling you in since 2002. We feature a selected number of Web comics that are very popular and part of our mix for our readers. The Bin has always been a partnership of liked-minded people who had
something to say about comics or in comics. We're like a club.
When
In 2014, after years of reviewing other people's work, ComicBookBin
writers Leroy Douresseau and Hervé St-Louis launched their own web
comics,
Grumble and
Johnny Bullet. We are interested in creators who can update their comics at least once a week and are serious about their followers.
What
We're looking for one to three original Web comics to join our ranks at the Bin. It could be any genre or style. If we like your work, you're in! Be eclectic. Super hero, manga, action, science fiction, fantasy, thriller, drama, if it looks good, we're up for it! However, we're only interested in original comics, not fan comics or anything using other people's copyrights or trademarks.
Why
Regular options for Web comics means posting your work on a huge site where you get minimal exposure because your comic is buried under thousands of other comics. If you publish your comic on your own site, you have to work pretty hard to get people to notice you. At the Bin, you get more exposure by posting on a site with years of traffic and visitors while still having very good visibility if you update frequently.
Where
Your comic is featured here, free of charge, and is non-exclusive to us. We're not a regular web comic portal. We have to manually create your
account to post your comic here and change the backend architecture to
support you. So if you want to join us, please be serious about your application and commitment thereafter. We suggest that you have at least 10 to 15 pages ready to post. Having a good idea about a comic and a few doodles is not enough.
How
Just
send us an email with links to your work and we'll respond. We support comics created in multiple languages, provided we can read one of the versions. You could post two versions of your comics, for example, one in English, and the other in Spanish.
