After Spidey's introduction to Black Cat last issue didn't really go too well on any front, things just seem to be getting worse. We find out who wants the tablet that Cat stole and that's not all though, as another femme fatale decides to join the party.
Things are definitely getting interesting. Everyone thinks Spider-man is a cat burglar and that now he has an accomplice. Ironic when his supposed accomplice is the Black Cat, who is the real cat burglar. And when the mention of someone coming in to get back the tablet is mentioned, you defiantly become intrigued. Bendis does a good job of building things up and portraying good character interaction. I wasn't sure bout the Cat, Spidey thing at the end though. Cat seemed to come off as a bit of a giddy school kid.
I think Bagley has got the, caught messing with your neighbours wife look the look of wild indignation nailed to a tee. He always fits them in just in the right place in the stories, which is always a nice touch. And I have to say, I wouldn't mess with our hired gun. There was definitely an iron cold conviction in the eyes. Something that seemed a bit odd though was the fact that in side this issue Black Cat looked virtually the same ages as Peter. However, on the cover she looks a lot older and in interviews Bendis did mention she would be the older women!?!
