Eidos Interactive announced yesterday that the demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld is now available for download for Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Players will travel to the west coast of Thailand, the second mission destination in the game, to get a glimpse of the adventure to follow. Continuing in the franchise's classic action-platformer style, they'll be faced with steep coastal cliffs, crumbling ruins, wild animals and use state-of-the-art gear, including a grapple of the new Field Assistance System, to uncover paths through the coastal brush.
Tomb Raider: Underworld is set to release on November 18 th in North America and November 21 st in Europe for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, Wii and the Games for Windows PC platform. The demo for Tomb Raider: Underworld can be played in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The demo for the PC version will be available for download this Friday from www.tombraider.com.
