Ah, beautiful Canada. Who wouldn't want to golf there? Sorry, I'm biased.
Electronic Arts announced today that the breathtaking views of Banff can now be enjoyed in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, as it has made the Banff Springs Golf Club, located in Alberta, Canada, available as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game.
A bit of information on the course: Banff Springs Golf Club sits in the heart of Canada’s Rocky Mountains and features a captivating layout with elevation changes and holes surrounded by snow capped mountains that give every golfer a sense of the panoramic beauty that surrounds them.
This marks the first time that the Banff Springs Golf Club has made an appearance in the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR franchise, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Considering just how beautiful the scenery around the course is (majestic? Can I say majestic?), gamers will surely notice the incredible graphical detail that has been given to this picturesque course. This might have been achievable in previous versions. So while waiting may be the hardest part, sometimes it's really worth it.
The Banff Springs Golf Club is available for download to Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace for 600 Microsoft Points, and to Playstation 3 via the Playstation Network for $7.50. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is rated E for Everyone.
