Only one can wield Mjolnir, the mighty mystic Uru hammer. Will it be Thor, or his son Magni? And must the son kill the father in order to restore peace on Earth?
For the last two issues we have seen the threat of Desakon the horizon, but in this issue he steps to the forefront in a big way. Through all that is happening, Jurgen’sstill has managed to keep things in a grey area. The issues aren’t clear cut right or wrong, but certain traits are there for all to see. Thoris evasive with Magni, which is pretty compelling in the manor in which it’s handled. And the interplay between Lokiand Amoraadds to the intrigue.
With Desak’sreturn, you could imagine big things, explosions, fights and a lot of power. Well you won’t be disappointed and especially with the way Eatonhandles it all. One thing that Eaton does with aplomb is to convey the mindset of Amoraand Loki. Throughout Magni’sconfrontation with his father, you can see the positioning, planning and thought that is going through their minds and this really helps set up what I’m sure is to come.
