Captain Sin and Redhand Harry finally meet face-to-face… or is that blade-to-blade? The undermanned and outgunned El Cazador is in the fight of its life against Harry Newcomb and his newly refitted ship. If they are to survive, Cinzia must rally her unwilling crew…but will they battle back?
After the rather lacklustre origin story of Redhand Harry, we're back to series proper and the adventures of Captain Sin. As well as being back to the series, this is back to form from Dixon. Harry is hot on the trail of Captain Sin and Dixon does a really good job at projecting Harry's venom and determination in the chase. We get some good action and all in all, this is a good issue to end on, even though there are a few questions left open.
Epting's pencils are magnificent. He captures the mood and vigour of the chase expertly. The frustration and hatred is evident on Redhand Harry's face. The cannon fights are stunning, but what is really good is the fact that you can see rawness of Captain Sin. Her face is fuller, she's new to the life of a pirate and it's nice that this isn't forgotten.
