He was an artist well known for his provocative music and prolific creativity. Prince also featured in a few comics in his life. One of the best known was published by DC Comics’ Piranha Press to promote the release of a new album. The comic was written by Dwayne McDuffie and drawn by Dennis Cowan. I had this comic before. Prince was almost vigilante-like and used his heels to fight bad guys! Nothing impressive, but the Brian Bolland cover captured the intricate artist’s likeness perfectly.
