Rated “T” for “Teen”

When Uzumaki Naruto was a baby, a nine-tailed fox spirit was imprisoned within his infant body.  Now a teenager, Naruto is counted among the ranks of the Konoha shinobi.  These illustrious shinobi (ninja) protect their village from forces trying to destroy it from within and without.  However, Naruto’s quest to become the world’s greatest ninja and “Hokage” (village champion) continues.

In Naruto, Vol. 45 (entitled Battlefield, Konoha), Naruto’s former teammate, Uchiha Sasuke and his ninja cell, Taka, launch an attack on Killer Bee.  Bee is the rapping ninja whose body holds the Eight-Tailed beast, but Bee is as hard to beat as his rapping is hard to take.  Then, the Akatsuki launch their attack on Konoha in an attempt to obtain Naruto, who is miles away, training in the land of frogs.

THE LOWDOWN:  This 45th volume of Naruto offers non-stop, wall to wall action.  Chapter after chapter of secrets revealed, the past illuminated, conspiracies brought to light, etc., but now, it’s time for some butt-kicking fun.  Let’s get ready to rumble, indeed!  Vol. 45 goes out with a bang – especially since the next volume isn’t due for another three months.

POSSIBLE AUDIENCE:  Readers looking for that exceptional shonen title will find it in Naruto.

A+
