Battlestar Galactica Composer to Create Dark Void Score

Capcom
announced today that compser Bear McCreary (Battlestar
Galactica,
Terminator:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles)
has signed on to create the musical score for the publisher's
upcoming third-person science fiction shooter, Dark
Void.
While he has gained international recognition for his work on
Battlestar
Galactica over
the last few years, Dark
Void marks
McCreary's first foray into scoring for video games.
“
When
I got the call from Capcom to work on the music for Dark Void, I
jumped at the chance to do it, considering my love for Capcom games.”
said McCreary. “I have been looking for the opportunity to compose
a game score for a long time, but I’ve been waiting for the right
one. Dark Void’s epic story and unique gameplay drew me in
immediately and I have had a lot of fun working on the project.”
With
the announcement, Capcom has also a released a new video interview
with Bear McCreary, in which he discusses creating the music for Dark
Void,
his work on Battlestar
Galactica and
more.
Developed
by Airtight Games, Dark
Void,
is set to release later this year for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
