Prince Charming, Vol. 3 brings to a close a tale of high school friends/lovers.  This yaoi manga (comics which feature explicit sex between young males) focuses on a love triangle of high school boys:  Yuasa, Kagami, and Nagai and their relationship with one of their teachers, a young man named Asahina.

As the story comes to a lusty close, Nagai finds himself blackmailed by Yuzusaka, a young artist who demands that Nagai model for him.  Meanwhile, Yuasa and Asahina’s illicit relationship is about to be discovered…

This third volume of Prince Charming probably reads better if the reader is familiar with the earlier volumes; otherwise, it can be a bit hard to follow.  There is a nice mixture of comedy and drama here, and its randy charm makes it seem like a yaoi version of NBC’s late sitcom series, “Friends.”  Manga-ka (creator) Akemi Takaido focuses on inter-character relationships – producing a book that has much more talking than it does coupling.
