This comic has just won an award for writing aimed at children. Yet this issue is packed with adult content, opening with a bunch of teenagers at a party who are clearly stoned out of their minds. No, there is no explicit drug use or sex but anyone can tell that this party isn't your typical sleepover. In case anyone missed the point, there is also no comics code stamp on the cover. The plot deals with Plastic Man and his supposed girlfriend Morgan trying to find his adopted daughter Edwina who is running around with a teenaged supervillain-wannabee. This alienated punk in turn, wants revenge on the "cool kids" at the party who tormented him. The visual comedy in the story is hilarious, especially the antics of the intoxicated kids but it also doesn't seem to go anywhere as though Baker was just having too much fun showing a guy putting his arm through a sewing machine to focus on the actual plot. Then, near the end of this issue comic, Edwina inexplicably walks out into a lightning attack covered with metal. Like-- huh? This was suppose to be a two-part story but now, we are on part three and it isn't even over yet. Baker could try planning out his stories more.
