Dallas Cowboys' Jason Witten Warns Against Underage Drinking in "Archie Double Digest" #217

Archie Comics has become more socially relevant then ever before! Keeping up with modern trends and telling stories that include all elements of high school life.

As part of a national program partnering with Mothers Against Drunk Driving and PowerTalk 21, Riverdale High will have a powerful speaker to talk about the dangers of teen drinking.

Jason Witten, tight end for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys is touring high schools around the country explaining the dangers of teen drinking. He will arrive at Riverdale High in Archie Double Digest #217, out this week.

"Archie has always kept up with the times. This story is entertaining, and it gets the message across at the same time. The idea here is prevention. To prevent kids from drinking" said Victor Gorelick, president and editor-in-chief of Archie Comics.

In "It's a Steal" robbers have the residents of Riverdale terrified, but Archie and Jughead create more fear as they help! Next, in "Career Sphere", Archie tries to decide his future vocation, but they all end in disaster! Finally, "Sore Loser" finds Archie's dad following Archie in an attempt to lose weight and write a diet book. Will he lose his mind before he loses any weight?
