In April, Comic Book Digest #2 will be released to shops everywhere from Alias Comics to orders surpassing 24,000, featuring previews of three of Alias’ biggest upcoming summer releases for only 25 cents!

Now in its second issue, CBD already has orders in excess of 24,000 and will preview the complete, 12- page, full-color SUPER TEEN*TOPIA #0, along with 11-pages of REVERE, and 11-pages of ARMORQUEST in its April release – all for only a 25 cent cover price!

CBD is modeled after Alias' previous publication, TWO BITS, which was published through Image Comics. Among the books previewed in TWO BITS, LULLABY sold out within days and had to be re-stocked with the publisher’s own convention copies, forcing them to up the print run on THE IMAGINARIES – also previewed in TWO BITS – which regardless nearly sold out as well. Both issues today are difficult for some readers to find, leaving many franticly searching for more! Readers are encouraged to order these titles while they’re still available!

“I'm excited about CBD because it will give readers a chance to read Super Teen*Topia #0 (plus two other comics) for less than a quarter,” said STT creator, Kirk Kushin. “I'm encouraging our fans to splurge and buy a couple extra copies to pass along to their friends. It's hard to do that with a regular priced comic!”

SUPER TEEN*TOPIA #1
Written by: Kirk Kushin, with art by Gonzalo Martinez
In the tradition of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Freaks & Geeks and Sixteen Candles comes a new ongoing series from Alias -- Super Teen*Topia! While “A-list” teen super heroes travel to other dimensions and fight cosmic overlords -- the STT gang gets stuck at the mall waiting for a bus! In this issue Paige, Cameron and Kevin meet for the first time as they respond to a crisis with their untested powers. If you’re ready for a comic series that focuses more on character than it does costume – Super Teen*Topia is the brand new “super soap” in town! This fresh take on high school hi-jinks starts this April with a 27 page origin story!
-- 32-pages, full-color -- $3.50
(order code: FEB062801)

Joining the excitement will be a special sneak-peak at 11-pages of REVERE #1– which reviewers are already referring to as, “An impressive debut, well written, with an evocative art style.” (Reviewer, Alan Porter; RevolutionSF.com)

REVERE #1
Written by Ed Lavallee, with artwork by Grant Bond
Through cannon fire, and musket smoke, America's war for independence was hard fought by The Sons of Liberty. But beneath it all, shrouded in secrecy, another battle was being fought, a battle against the creatures of the night. Two beacons blaze to life in the steeple of the Old North Church spurring silversmith and freedom fighter, Paul Revere, into action. History tells us the signal was to warn of British troops on the move, but in reality the warning had a more sinister message... WEREWOLVES! Revere tracks a werewolf to a secluded cabin, where he is sure he has cornered the beast, but all is not as it appears. Revere soon finds himself torn between upholding his oath to protect the colonies, and sparing a young boys life! Join us on the road to revolution in this first, all-action, pulse pounding, issue!
-- 32-pages, full color, four-issue monthly limited series -- $3.50 (order code: APR062862)

“Having REVERE previewed in the CBD will be a great opportunity for people to really get a feel for what the story and characters are all about. Hopefully it will spark a lot of interest and at 25-cents how could you go wrong! You can't even make a phone call for 25-cents,” exclaimed REVERE writer/creator, Ed Lavallee.

Topping it all off, Alias is only further encouraging fans to check out the May release of the collected ARMORQUEST trade paperback with 11-pages taken from the collection.
