G.I. JOE: SIGMA 6, the all-new animated series that recently enjoyed its Saturday morning debut across America on 4Kids TV on FOX, has given life to its own comic book! Andrew Dabb (FORGOTTEN REALMS, and DRAGONLANCE) and Chris Lie (G.I.JOE: ARASHIKAGE SHOWDOWN) bring G.I. JOE: SIGMA 6 #1 (of 6) to fans who can’t wait for next week’s show.
The comic has all the atmosphere of the show in a classic book form, but don’t let that fool you. This new book is a 32-page, $2.95, color, full-fledged project with all the talent and direction you’d need for any excellent G.I.JOE book. G.I. JOE: SIGMA 6 features the core team from the 80s, refreshing the small covert ops team for a new generation of heroes.
“SIGMA 6 has been nothing but fun from the start. It’ll show on every page, trust me,” said editor Mike O’Sullivan with confidence. “This is going to be great. Not only for the regular readers, but also for people who haven’t read a lot of G.I. JOE before. It’s fresh and has a new look to it that just tells you exactly what you’re going to be reading. Action.”
