The Comic Book Show, a two-day collectors event in Nashua, NH, is enjoying unprecedented support from the community. Over 50 shops from across the region have already begun promoting the show by handing out flyers to their customers, and many more are expected to be added to that number in the last days before the convention.

It seems like all of New England is helping to get the word out for The Comic Book Show, the single biggest event for comics in New England. WBCN DJ Adam 12, an avid comic book fan, is highlighting the show in his Daily Events calendar on the #1-rated Boston radio station.

Reached for comment, Promoter Christian Miller stated, "The sheer size of the show, its guest list, the expected customer volume, and its length (the onlly two-day comic book show in New England) are making this the biggest Comic Book Show in New England."

The show also features an exclusive sketch cover variant of the local comic Digital Webbing Presents #24. Ed Dukeshire of DWP in Haverhill, MA, operates one of the most successful online sources for comic news, and his anthology comic has received many positive reviews for its great stories, including the first color Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story in years, featured in DWP #24.

The Comic Book Show’s huge guest list includes such popular comic book creators as Adam Hughes, Bernie Wrightson, J.G. Jones, Mark Texeira, Rick Leonardi, Dan Fraga, Andy MacDonald, Ivan Brandon, Craig Rousseau, Todd Dezago, Joe Staton, and more. The show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 30, at The Holiday Inn, 9 Northeastern Blvd., Nashua, NH, conveniently located just off Route 3 at Exit 4.

Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $11 per person for a weekend pass, which includes a copy of Ed McGuinness' first sketch cover variant, exclusive to The Comic Book Show, while supplies last, or $7 per person for a single-day pass. Children 10 and under get in for free. Due to scheduling and travel, some guests may not be able to appear both days.
