HEAVEN'S DEVILS has won the prestigious Bram Stoker Award for Illustrated Narrative. Each year, the Horror Writer's Association presents the Bram Stoker Awards for Superior Achievement, named in honor of Bram Stoker, author of the seminal horror work, Dracula.

"Winning the Stoker was completely unexpected," said creator/writer Jai Nitz. "I can't believe I won. Still, I wouldn't have won without the efforts of Zach Howard, Sean Murphy, Kevin Sharpe, and Thompson Knox. Without them, there would be no HEAVEN'S DEVILS."

Nitz joins a prestigious line of previous winners such as Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman and Michael Moorcock.

Nitz continues, "Also, thanks to Eric Stephenson and Image Comics for believing in HEAVEN'S DEVILS from the beginning. It was great to be nominated for outstanding comic writing by the Horror Writers Association, but I still can't believe I won. This thing is going on my mantle."

In HEAVEN'S DEVILS, Alan Wells hides from his ugly past but seeks redemption in Mexico. John Wickliffe belies his corporate status and tries to save the rainforest one tree at a time. Agent Madison Morgan is suspended by the FBI and sent to do deskwork in the middle of nowhere Texas for the Office of Homeland Security. A smuggler with a past, an environmentalist with an agenda, and a loose cannon with a chip on her shoulder come together with the fate of humanity between them.
