JIM SMITH COMMITED TO ASYLUM

JIM SMITH’S SKETCHBOOK “DEADLY ARE THE NAKED” SHIPS JULY 2005 FROM ASYLUM PRESS.

Jim Smith, co-creator of Ren and Stimpy, The Ripping Friends and many other Spumco cartoons has inked a deal with Asylum Press to publish a series of sketchbooks.

This 64 page extravaganza featuring rare sketches, sexy figure studies, muscle bound barbarians and looney cartoon characters. Also featured are Ripping Friends storyboards, background design and celebrity caricature. Full color section features never before seen concept art and a glimpse into Jim's new comic book character CHESTACLESE. A must for all Spumco fans. This book will have a 16 page color section featuring rare concept drawings and all new comic book art.

A signed sketch edition of 500 will feature an original pencil sketch by none other than Jim Smith himself.
