Takeo Goda is a giant guy with a giant heart.  He isn't the most attractive fellow, and the girls at the school he attends, Shuei High School, won't have anything to do with him.  Then, Takeo meets Rinko Yamato, from Koizumi Girls Academy, after saving her from a harasser on a train.  Yamato falls in love with Takeo and changes his life.  Takeo's long-time friend, Makoto Sunakawa, tags along for fun.

As My Love Story!!, Vol. 12 (Chapters 43 to 46) opens, Takeo takes it upon himself to help Sunakawa's new friend/stalker, Tanaka, better deal with friendship.  The results are mixed.  Then, Yamato gets some shocking news from her father that will change her relationship with Takeo.

THE LOWDOWN:  Now, more than ever, I can call the My Love Story!! manga something special.  It remains a thoroughly enjoyable read, and I am a fan of the heartwarming and magical storytelling spun by creators Kazune Kawahara (writer) and Aruko (artist).

My Love Story!! Volume 12 is a pivotal volume, a game changer for both the main characters and the narrative.  I don't want to spoil it, but this new story line makes My Love Story!! a top shojo high school romance.  Once again, jump in and enjoy My Love Story!!
