This story just continues to get better and better. We are given five different story threads this issue, but at no point did it become confusing. The anticipation to see how everyone connects is really a draw. And the characterisations feel so right. Everyone has a presence and when you read Mark, you just get this ominous feeling, its GREAT! Straczynski is really laying down something special here!
I think one of the things Frank does best here is the way he can put so much into an expression! He helps transform a simple line into the intent in which it is meant, which is no mean feat! His other work is real good as well though. The book has this presence that say’s it’s more than just some normal, non-substance story. I mean just look at the cover. It’s simple yes, but has definite poignancy bout it!
Report Card – B+
