The water supply of a small town is poisoned, turning meek creatures into killers while predators turn into weaklings. Frankenstein heads to town only to encounter the Bride of Frankenstein and some obscure government anti-monster team. The story opens with some very eerie scenes but soon loses its way as the Frankenstein Monster gets shanghaied by the government. Instead of coming up with a satisfying resolution, Morrison basically just uses a few gunshots and an explosion to wrap things up. It looks like he came up with a good premise but couldn't come up with a good ending. The art is very detailed and can be very chilling but some panels look rather muddled, like the plotline was changed near the ending.
