MTV Games, Harmonix and Electronic Arts announced the release of the Rock Band Country Track Pack today, available as a standalone disc for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 and Wii. This is the first Rock Band game that focuses solely on country music. The pack features 21 tracks from some of country's biggest artists, including Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain and more.

13 of the on-disc tracks are brand new to Rock Band and will be exclusive to the Rock Band Country Track Pack for a limited time before they finally join the rest of the library in the Rock Band Music Store as downloadable content. As with all previous iterations of Rock Band, the Rock Band Country Track Pack is compatible with all Rock Band instrument controllers and peripherals, as well as Guitar Hero peripherals and “authorized” third party controllers. The tracks on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the Track Pack can also be played either from the disc or downloaded to your system's hard drive, through a free offer from Xbox Live and the Playstation Network, for play with the rest of your Rock Band music library.
