Suspense novelist Brad Meltzer continues to write modern detective stories for the DC Universe. Last year, he tackled Green Arrow. Green Arrow plays a major part in this story as one of several narrators. There lies one of the problem with Meltzer's story. Most of the narrators share the same interior voice. As for Ralph Dibny, the Elongated Man, he appears sterner than usual.
These criticisms pale when contemplating the entire project. Morales delivers solid visual characterizations matching Meltzer's script. He tries to infuse individual features to each character. Morales is probably one of the best costume designers in the business and this issue proves why. Nevertheless, his storytelling still has the many problems seen in his Hawkman run.
