Elektra Natchios was an Olympic-level athlete and gymnast. She once defined herself by the men in her life: She was the daughter of a powerful Greek diplomat and the girlfriend of blind American law student Matt Murdock. But her father's assassination left her emotionally shattered. Although she possesses no superhuman abilities, Elektra is an expert of the martial arts. She is a mistress of the skills of the ancient ninja of Japan and wields a pair of three-pronged daggers called Sais, though she also is proficient with, and makes use of, a multitude of martial-arts weaponry.

Rodi starts off his story just like he started his second issue. He takes you back to events prier to the cliff-hanger of the last issue. Which is really quite interesting, to see other events, which also lead to a point, from someone else's perspective. Elektra is in the middle of an assassination attempt on the brutal, oppressive President of Djanda Bridget Hapanmyas. The story is written well, the pacing is good, the only thing is, it's not totally rush out and buy gripping!

The art is nice. Chen is doing his thing. There's only one thing that is a bit off and that is his women. He said in a interview that he is perfecting drawing women cause he isn't great at it. Now, I'm not saying they're mad horrible, but there's something about them that doesn't seem right. Everything else is on point though. The colouring is just right, it really reflects the mood of this book. Dark & gritty where it has to be but still not afraid to use colour. Have to say that the cover is really slick too.

If your after an easy read and don't mind different flips on already trodden ground, even though it could be considered as filler. Then check this out. It's a solid issue, just not standout.
