When sending us a press release or preview material, we ask that you tweet a link or post a link to your Facebook page about Johnny Bullet or do something to help us promote this cool web comic. Publisher Hervé St-Louis and Johnny Bullet creator pays for everything at the Bin and earns next to nothing from advertising. Help us, and we'll help you too.
Submitting News
Please include a contact name, a working email address, the publisher’s or vendor’s name and Web site if available. We prefer that news be submitted as attached Word, even when the copy is within the email message. Avoid Adobe Acrobat files. Please be clear in your news release and separate different topics clearly. Please note that we do not publish advertisements but news.
Submitting Previews
Previews are news articles showing display images from upcoming products. ComicBookBin also publishes monthly solicitations from participating comic book publishers. Publishers may include Diamond Comics order codes in their previews’ copy.
Submitting Images With News and Previews
ComicBookBin prefers to receive images as jpg files as attachments within email messages. For large monthly solicitations (i.e., 70 Mb!), please include a link where we can download a single archive file. Dropbox or Box are great place to allow the press to download large files.
Rights and Responsibilities
ComicBookBin is 100% independent. All opinions expressed in articles are those of their authors and not necessarily ComicBookBin’s. We remove all trademarks and copyright symbols such as ®, ©, ™ within submitted releases. ComicBookBin publishes A trademark and copyright notice at the bottom of each article page and indicates to visitors that all copyrights and trademarks are protected.
Sending Promotional Items
Please contact us for more information on where to forward promotional and review material. It's important that you send all press releases and news to the address below and not any other one. The email address below is shared by all the editors of the site - five of us will get it, making it more likely that you will get a response from one of us. Sending all your news to a particular person, like say Hervé St-Louis (the publisher) limits your reach. He gets your email, but he doesn't have the time to forward everything to the other news editors.
SEO, Gambling and Casinos
Please understand that we are not interested in posting fake articles about gambling, casinos, and related industries. We also do not need any help in app development, SEO services, web design and development or participate in link exchanges. Please leave us alone.
