Reminder to Publishers and Comics Creators

When you send large emails, you can cripple the work and force the recipient to incur fees or go beyond their download limits. The smart way to send large files is to put them in a cloud-based system like Dropbox or a ftp directory where the recipient can download the files at their discretion.
You can put a password if you want but at least, the recipient can better manage their mail boxes.
Some publishers frequently send emails that are over 5 megabytes. Users who check their emails on mobile devices or are travelling have limits that just a few large emails can easily overwhelm. Please be considerate.
This is is not just a practice that's good for ComicBookBin. It's good for all media venues. Comics media and other media outlets receive a ton of emails everyday. Don't assume that yours is the only one they will get and therefore is not a problem.
If you want the media to help communicate information about your projects, please help the media. Don't overwhelm us with so many attachments that our phones, tablets and computers freeze because of your large emails.
Cheers
Hervé
