I feel bad for Vera who put so much effort into this comic book and probably personal finances. While the concept is fun, a simpler format would have helped the creator develop his skills before publishing this comic book as professional material. This series is not ready for prime time yet as the jokes and actions are mostly clichés. Creators should learn to test the market and develop their skills before making such huge commitments.
The artwork is the weakest part of the comic book. As a simple online strip or small black and white ashcan, this comic book would find a proper audience and allow Vera’s artwork to mature. However, this is very debutant work and cannot support a full-four colour process comic book. I sense that Vera has many stories to tell and it oozes out of his system even as a badly drawn comic book. However, it’s not time yet.
