Violet Paige’s mom is confined to Arkham – for now. If Vi can find the right kind of help, she’s determined to bust her out. Batman? Out of the question. Joker? Too unpredictable. Riddler? Too volatile? Thanksfully, this universe has its own version of Catwoman. The trouble is locating her in the jungle known as Robinson Park, “a pristine nature preserve right in the heart of Gotham.” No kidding? How could such a thing be? I’ll give you two initials – I.V. Got it?

But even if she makes it inside, what of Mother Panic’s new sidekick, Fennec Fox? She’d love to come along – and believe me, nobody needs to be inside Arkham more than she does. But Mother Panic can’t quite see that yet. She’s only focused on the potential ally she expects to find inside. I could share that identity with you, but, you know, spoilers.

The current story arc is too early in the making for me to form a strong opinion, but the alternate universe idea is a big help. Until her roll on this Earth is determined, I’m willing to keep an open mind. She seemed redundant and wasted on Earth 1, so let’s hope for something different in her new world.

But as to which Earth this may is yet to be determined. A villainous Luthor is still running around in a Superman cape, but only for a limited time, it seems. New revelations will come, I’m sure, but I can be patient – up to a point.
