This issue is a bit better than the first one and clarifies some of the inconsistencies in the first one. I like the tricked used by Mister Terrific to free himself of mind control and how his new opponent Brainstorm tricked him into believing he had freed the mind-controlled victims. Parts of this comic book didn’t make sense, like how everybody was quick to forgive Mister Terrific when they found out he was being mind-controlled too.
The artwork is dreadful on this series. Every page is inconsistent. If this series gets cancelled, the artist will have to shoulder much of the blame. It’s kind of painful to look at. The inker is too soft on this artist and many of the poses attempt to be dynamic but exaggerate everything too much.
