But prison for metahumans is different for normal folk. For one, it’s co-ed, a remarkable flaw I can’t believe someone like Waller wouldn’t pick up on. Because there’s still that human quality to the metas, meaning boys and girls will do what comes naturally. And who wants a bunch of infant metas running around uncontrolled?
Unless that’s Waller’s long game. Despite her quasi-punky appearance, Killer Frost is still a doctor, and no doubt at one time wanted her intellect to serve mankind. Is it possible she’ll get that chance, thanks to Batman and the JLA? We’ll see how that goes.
Mirka Andolfo’s artwork is very good, but as I continue reading the Rebirth titles, it appears that DC Comics is going for a specific look, one that Mirka fits into. I don’t want to diminish her talent, because she’s got some serious chops. But she seems to be following the current trend. Maybe that’s her trying to please DC , maybe that DC expecting her to conform to a house style. Either way, I hope she has the opportunity to bust loose, sooner rather than later.
