I’m not familiar with Gargantuan. He reminds me of the Iron Giant but from a previous time. I like that the heroes are all joining in the fight and doing their best. It seems like we are nearing the climax of this series. It’s about time. I think it will all read better as one series but that it drags as separate instalments.
I really like Ron Randall and think that he is a great replacement for Doc Shaner. His work is cleaner too. Randall is an old pro who delivers good super hero action. Veronica Gandini’s colouring is also very good although he draws the palms of black characters the same colour as the rest of their skin. No one has melamine in their palms and soles. That means that they should not be coloured brown.
