If you are looking for a new comic book for children, look no further. In August 2014, Top Shelf will release the first volume of Maddy Kettle. Maddy Kettle (ISBN: 978-1-60309-072-8) works in her parents’ bookstore. She has to help them transform back into humans. Thimblewitch transformed them into kangaroo rats.

Shaft Comics
Dynamite Entertainment has obtained the rights to the Shaft series of film and the novels. Ernest Tidyman wrote seven novels between 1970 and 1975. Dynamite will be able to produce comics and released new version of the prose novels.

Captain America Winter Soldier
Expect the Blu-Ray, DVD and digital video on September 9, 2014. The Digital 3D will ship through the clouds on April 19th 2014 from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. The home video edition comes with bonus features. There will be a making of, audio commentary; deleted scenes, bloopers and more.

Dracula Untold
Universal Pictures’ Dracula Untold will screen with an IMAX version. The film which is an origin story of Dracula featuring Luke Evans will be available on October 17, 2014.

Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist
Machinima has released the thirteen episodes of its Street Fighter live action Web series on YouTube. This series tells the origins of Ryu and Ken. Watch all episodes now.

Lego Batman
Warner Bros. Interactive announced its new video games based on the Lego franchise this week. The Lego group and Warner will release Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham in the fall 2014. In the game, Batman seeks the help of other DC Comics super heroes against Brainiac. The game will be available for the Xbox One, the Xbox 360, the PlayStation4, the PlayStation3, the Playstation Vita, the Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS and for Windows PC.

Machi Koro
IDW Games is adding a small-box expansion for the upcoming Machi Koro card game. The Machi Koro: The Harbor Expansion has ten new establishments, two landmarks and more. The total cards in the set is 82. Look for this in July 2014.

Super Smash Bros
If you are Canadian, you will want to visit a Best Buy store on June 11, 2014 to test drive Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. The first 25 people in line will get a chance to sample the game which hits stores on June 14, 2014.
