The Japanese game developer Konami began streaming a 148-second promotional movie for Project Loveplus for Nintendo 3DS on its YouTube channel. The movie highlights the enhancements that the portable game console's stereoscopic 3D screen and gyroscopic sensors offer for the virtual girlfriend franchise.
Nintendo announced during its 2:00 p.m. press conference on Wednesday that the Nintendo 3DS device will begin selling for the suggested retail price of 25,000 yen (about US$300) in Japan on February 26, 2011. Nintendo's international subsidiaries will announce the release dates for their respective regions later.
