Losing Interest in DCDirect

I don't know what's happening. Maybe it's the lack of new action figures being opened and displayed on my bookshelf (the last action figures I bought were Apollo and Midnighter - I didn't open them);
-
or the lack of action figures falling on the ground (the last one falling did so because my dog was waving his tale)
- perhaps it's the fact that none have that industrial stench anymore (it probably saturated my blood with enough chemicals for two life times)
-
perhaps it's the lack of time and energy I give to comics and stuff coming up since I switched to trade paperbacks (I don't even go to Comics Continuum regularly like before)
-
perhaps it's the lack of choice from DCDirect or the fact that the cool stuff (for me) will arrive in a few months (there is nothing for me until Guy Gardner, the new Hal Jordan action figure and the new Superman. I'm not sure if I will like Metamorpho.)
-
I barely notice my action figures. I don't look at them. What's happening to me? The last time I had similar reflections, I stopped collecting 3/4 GI. Joes.
DCDirect better wake up soon and improve its marketing machine, 'cause they're losing this customer. I don't even know why I collect DCDirect anymore. I already have toys of my favourite characters. Waiting for new toys is not as fun as it used to be.
Is this a sign of the beginning of the end for DCDirect? Is the nostalgia effect wearing off and returning me my sanity? Will I stop collecting toys? Only time will tell.
Are you bored too?
