AMC Independent Presents Fan Expo Anime Film Festival

www.amctheatres.com/independent) is proud to announce that AMCYonge and Dundas24 will be hosting three special films from Japanas the Fan Expo Anime Film Festival. These Japanese films will be shown for the first time in full digital transfer at Toronto's most state-of-the-art theatre. Each digital print has been specially acquired from Japan to give you the best and cleanest quality of film. All films are subtitled while preserving their original spoken language.
All three films are a great outing for the whole family and are meant to invoke a feeling of your childhood and of whimsical adventure.

Haruka is an ordinary teenager. Her mother left this world when she was only a little child and her father has been looking after her ever since. One day, in a shrine yard, Haruka spots a strange creature resembling a fox, carrying a toy plane. But as she goes after the funny animal, she finds herself on... OblivionIsland! This is an amazing place entirely made of memorabilia from the human world. Will Haruka find her long lost memories and make up with them?

Serious and generous, but a bit shy, Yudai has been unsuccessful with the opposite sex. Chizuru is an energetic and cheerful girl, but when it comes to boyfriends, she's been unlucky and clumsy, and never had a steady relationship. Chizuru loves animals and Yudai plans to give her a rabbit in a box, but it turns out to be... a mini donkey?! As the funny creature escapes, Chizuru goes after it and Yudai loses sight of them both. What answer will the two youngsters find while separated from each other?
