Transformers #25

Prowl is on a special investigation on human Spike, while Jazz continues to agonize over his murder of a human protester. While Prowl is trying to sniff out as much information as possible on Spike’s extracurricular activities, a Decepticon gets involved and nearly blows his cover. What is Spike up to anyway?
Compared to the last issue, the artwork here was impressive and made the story much better. However, there are scenes that are not very clear, especially to a lapse Transformers’ fan. The scene involving Breakdown, Streetwise and Prowl in a chase wasn’t exactly clear, especially as the two Autobots share pretty similar alternative car modes.
One thing for sure, it was fun to see little used characters like Breakdown and Streetwise, instead of the usual golden team from the very first Transformers stories – you know Prowl, Jazz, Bumblebee and all. O they were there, but for once we got to see characters that deserve much more exposition. It was fun to see the differences between Prowl and fellow cop Streetwise. They are both police cars, but like in real life, they differ in tactics. I’m not sure where this new storyline is going, but I can’t wait to find out about this new “conspiracy.”
