Thor has been replaced by Tanarus and no one remembers that he died except Loki which of course, no one believes. But who is Tanarus and why do trolls want to usurp control of Asgard. Is the All-Mother’s plan to make the nine realms a democracy part of this plot?

I hate sounding like a broken record on every comic book series written by Matt Fraction but I have no choice. What the fuck is happening? Who the hell is the All-Mother - a trinity-like representation of Thor’s mother? When did she show up? What’s this thing about Thor being stuck in time and space? I thought he only died after fighting the Serpent? What the hell happened between this issue and the last one? There’s like a large gap of information missing and several plot points introduced out of the blue? Have I missed a couple of comics? This comic book is obviously not written for people who don’t buy multiple Marvel Comics tie-ins and follow continuity religiously. I’ve been reading Thor for the last three years and I’m completely confused about this latest issue.

Ferry saves this comic book again. Just like Salvador Larroca on Invincible Iron Man, he makes a comic book which would be unreadable at least pleasant to look at and probably props up the work of Fraction, helping cover all the problems in the script.
