Film and Television:
Orange you glad we don't go bananas over every internet rumor? Everyone seemed to be talking about
Ben Affleck's possible role in Warner Bros' upcoming
Justice League film: Would he direct? Would he co-star as well? Well, how about neither? It looks like as everybody went rabid over the "scoop" that Affleck had been eyed for the job,
Deadline, party-poopers extraordinaire, report after talking with Affleck's people that Variety's original claim of the actor/director's involvement in the film is only conjecture at best. Actually, they weren't nearly as genteel, stating that Variety's gossip is "bullshit." Affleck's camp says Ben had already passed on the movie.
Doctor Who turns 50 next year, and BBC is doing something very special for the Doctor's birthday. A 90 minute Dr. Who film, entitled "An Adventure in Space and Time," has been commissioned for the occasion. You can expect to see the movie air in 2013.
