Preorders for
Amazing Spider-Man #1 are over 500,000, nearly four times the best-selling comic of February. This is probably because of the various retailer incentives. More at

Marvel has been releasing a series of teaser images for their upcoming
Original Sin event. True to form, they feature cryptic phrases like "Who returns from beyond?" and Who is next?" More at

David Sim is thinking of giving his classic series
Cerebus the Ultimate treatment. He has put a call out for writers and artists to redo the first 25 issues of his most famous comic series for a project he calls

Gotham has cast their Riddler. Corey Michael Smith (
Olive Kitteridge) will guest star in the pilot and probably appear in later episodes. More at

Film
The
Fantastic Four film has found its Doctor Doom in the form of Toby Kebbell. The English actor was previously seen in
Control and
