Spider-man is in prison and its up to lawyer Matt Murdoch to protect him from being unmasked. Can Spider-man survive jail time or will he be unmasked and beaten up before. And what about the framing of officers Vin Gonzales and Carlie Cooper in the spider-tracer murder affair? And Finally, will Harry Osborne give in and become the Hobgoblin again?
I’m having déjà-vu with the court appearance of Spider-man and the plot hole used to clear him from his law suit. I thought that this had been done recently. I’ll leave the experts to point out what story that was. It was of course fun to read but it did not advance the story very much. Murdoch is turning out to be the type of lawyer I hate the most, and I don’t like having that feeling about Daredevil. I like how Peter Parker’s friends have been implicated in the Spider-tracer affair and can’t wait to see how he pulls out of that one.
Romita Jr. just continues to make me wish he would draw every issue of Spider-man rather than anyone else. But then again, Marvel Comics has to put him in all their big event series and they can’t clone him. Too bad.
