Survey for 18 years-old and older

Survey for under 18 years old

University of Chicago Masters student in public policy from the Harris School, Megan Milliken contacted The Comic Book Bin a month ago about participating in promoting a survey done to find out more information on comic book readers. This survey is done for a short course as part of Milliken’s Master’s thesis. From our brief exchange, Milliken seems to share my concerns about identifying and understanding comic book readers. She mentioned having read an article I wrote last year about understanding why comic book readers read comic books.

This may sounds like an oxymoron for some, but this is a required step in understanding why people that read comic books read them and how to reach out to other people. There are very few serious surveys on comic book readers which I have identified in recent articles as core components to understand if one wants to understand comic books. I am giving my entire support to this survey and would encourage any comic book reader that visits the Bin and other sites to please fill this survey. If you run a blog or a Web site, share the links. If you use Twitter or any other social network, please share the links. This survey is short but it is the right type of steps needed to understand why people buy comic books and therefore how to improve products for them.
