Internet cartoon sensation, Strongbad, has launched his satirical barbs at web comics. The angry, masked star of Homestarrunner.com recently used his popular ‘Strongbad E-mails’ feature as a forum to poke fun at the abundance of web comics – ranging in quality from excellent reads, to downright lame pixel-pasters.
Eagle-eyed viewers of Strongbad’s e-mail cartoon will find some exciting ‘Easter Eggs’ tucked into the final screen of the animation. It includes a custom comic maker, allowing viewers to make their own web comics, adding to the glut of sequential narratives that threatens to overtake the web.
The ever popular ‘The Cheat’ character also makes an appearance. Watch the clip here.
