Daredevil declares that he is the main man in New York and that the city is now under his control. The Hand and many other side players are hoping they can push him in a specific direction so they can control him and secure his downfall. But his old buddies from the Avengers, including Iron Fist and Luke Cage want to help him before he crosses a certain line. However, Bullseye is just the man to push Daredevil over the edge.
I like this series and I’m happy to see Bullseye being tossed aside at least for a while. We all know everyone returns from the dead all the time. I bet Bullseye returns with the Hand by the end of the series. I was a bit opposed to this series because it interrupts many others. However, this series is Daredevil centered and that’s a good thing. I continue to wonder about what will happen to Daredevil.

If there is something that bugged me, it's how all of this continues to peddle around the work done by Frank Miller 30 years ago. Daredevil seems to be caught in this vortex where he can't leave that era of his life and every single storyline has to be focused on what Frank Miller set up years ago. Other characters, such as Spider-man and Superman have had major storyline that changed them, yet, writers continue to add new layers to to them. Daredevil has really progressed fro the last 30 years, although the quality of the writing on the series is much better than it was years ago. I long to see a story by the likes of Ann Nocenty that pushes Daredevil in a completely other direction, instead of just reheating the same old Frank Miller stuff.
I’m not a fan of Tan’s work. The characters he draws have extremely long torsos and bellies. However, his storytelling is strong enough and it was easy to read the scenes he drew without having to read the captions.
