Invincible #70

Invincible fights the horrible squid guy that looks like the Justice League’s Starro. But the fight against the parasite alien organism turns bad when Invincible has to make an important decision about the how to stop the villain’s threat. This story seemed like it was played for a laugh until Invincible crossed that line and ended the threat posed by the villain. I like where this is going and what it means for the character. After all the crap he’s been through recently his reactions make sense. There’s not much to discuss about this issue except for the fact that it was a solid read. Ottley remains my favourite Invincible artist and he knows how to draw gore.
