At the New York Comic Con, wildly imaginative writer Grant Morrison confirmed that after completing Final Crisis, this summer’s blockbuster DC event, he will be taking an extended break from superhero comics, presumably to tend the peyote farm in whatever 4th-dimensional tesseract cube he lives in. Though the author will continue to write Batman for the foreseeable future, his All-Star Superman will end with issue 12, though Morrison did not rule out the occasional special. He also mentioned that the film version of We3, a mini-series about what happens when you watch Homeward Bound after snorting nanobot-laced ketamine, is still looking for a director.
