“To this day I still consider him the granddaddy of all TV super heroes. He simply defined the golden age version of that character. To be able to work on these tributes was more than labor of love.  It was a true honor to bring them to life in pages of a comic," said artist/writer M. Anthony Gerardo.

In December Bluewater released another Tribute comic book one shot on another Superman alumni Christopher Reeve, in conjunction with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.  The book is available in print and digital.

The Tribute line of comic books tells the stories of the classic entertainers that have passed on,” says Bluewater publisher, Darren G. Davis “It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world.

Previous subjects that have been featured in the “Tribute” line include Bruce Lee, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Capra, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.
