Astute filmgoers will recognize banks from her roles in the Spider-Man films and her recent appearance in Fred Claus. She also carried a role in Seabiscuit. For those unfamiliar with her work, in comparison to rising comedy star Rogen, it should be known that Banks is an absolutely hilarious comedy performer in her own right.
Prior to her run on the comedy television series
Scrubs, Elizabeth Banks was featured in David Wain’s cult-comedy classic,
Wet Hot American Summer. Her recent performance in his YouTube series,
Wainy Days, allowed her the opportunity to play a sexually overzealous book designer named Shelley. She is featured in the first two episodes, the first of which is viewable below this article.
